When taking photos of the moon, you want a high shutter speed to get the details of the moon, of course a good zoom lens helps and you can keep the iso low because it is so bright . Here you can see a crater in the moon! That is the kind of details you want. Bump up the sharpening in photoshop so that you can clearly see the details.
